THIS IS WHAT THE HAND-COLORED MAPS LOOK LIKE:
|
This is a photo of the 'Tadpole Galaxy', also known as Galaxy UGC 10214, taken on April 1st and 9th, of
2002, by the Hubble Space Telescope. Against a stunning backdrop of thousands of galaxies, this
odd-looking galaxy with the long streamer of stars appears to be racing through space, like a runaway
pinwheel firework. Its distorted shape was caused by a small interloper, a very blue, compact galaxy
visible in the upper left corner of the more massive 'Tadpole'. The Tadpole resides about 420 million
light-years away in the constellation Draco. Seen shining through the Tadpole's disk, the tiny intruder is
likely a hit-and-run galaxy that is now leaving the scene of the accident. Strong gravitational forces from
the interaction created the long tail of debris, consisting of stars and gas that stretch out more than
280,000 light-years. Numerous young blue stars and star clusters, spawned by the galaxy collision, are
seen in the spiral arms, as well as in the long "tidal" tail of stars. Each of these clusters, represents the
formation of up to about a million stars. Their color is blue because they contain very massive stars,
which are 10 times hotter and 1 million times brighter than our Sun. Once formed, the star clusters
become redder with age as the most massive and bluest stars exhaust their fuel and burn out. These
clusters will eventually become old globular clusters similar to those found in essentially all halos of
galaxies, including our own Milky Way. Two prominent clumps of young bright blue stars in the long tail
are separated by a "gap" - a section that is fainter than the rest of the tail. These clumps of stars will
likely become dwarf galaxies that orbit in the Tadpole's halo. The galactic carnage and torrent of star
birth are playing out against a spectacular backdrop of 6,000 galaxies that represent twice the number of
those that were first discovered in 1995 with the legendary Hubble Deep Field Camera. These galaxies
are a myriad of shapes that represent fossil samples of the universe's 13 billion-year evolution.
One light-year = traveling @ 186,000 miles per second, x 60 seconds per minute,
x 60 minutes per hour, x 24 hours in one day, x 365 days per year!
Multiplied By 420 Million To Reach The Tadpole Galaxy!

ABOVE: This is my "Mundane Map". 'Mundane', in this sense, means: "bound to Earth". The lines that are shown
on "The Mundane Map" reveals the astronomical placements of each of the cosmic bodies, as they were rising and
setting, and at the upper and lower meridians, at the time of my birth. For Example: In the map above, if you were
standing at the green planetary line on the east coast, you would see Venus rising in the eastern sky. If you were
standing at the gray line that appears in the 'Great Plains' states, Pluto would be at its uppermost position. If you
were standing at the light-green planetary line on the extreme west coast, Mercury would be overhead or at its
uppermost position in the sky. These planets are 'angular', meaning that they occupy a significant placement in the
birth chart. The darker color in each area shows where the line of influence is at its strongest. Where the color starts
to become lighter and fades in each area, shows the influence at its weakest. In this map, since Venus is about
relationships, being at the Venus line, or anywhere in the Venus area, will make relationship issues a more prominent
part of my life. Since Pluto rules psychological crises, including death and rebirth issues, these things will become a
more prominent part of my life. Since Mercury symbolizes "Quality of Mind" and "Communication", this area reveals
a good place to go to school or learn new skills. The lines on this map are of primary importance, having a value of 75
to 80% in the interpretation of my Astrocartography locations.
ABOVE: This is my "Local Space Map". These lines radiate out from Wichita, KS, my place of birth. It shows the
positions of the planetary lines and the areas associated with them, measured along the 'horizon', as they appeared at
the place of birth. In this map, if I were to walk straight north or south, I would be walking along the gray line. This is
my Pluto line, since these Astrocartography lines have the same value as in natal astrology, the same applies to the
"Local Space Map" as it does in the above "Mundane Map". If I were to walk, from my place of birth, along the yellow
line, I would be walking towards the Sun's position at the time I was born, and would find "Strength", "Power", and
"Self-Confidence" along my journey. If I were to follow the dark blue line, the Neptune line, that appears in southern
Washington state, or proceed in the other direction through the panhandle and peninsula of Florida, I would find that
"Spirituality", "Intuition", and "Imagination", which are symbolized by Neptune, more prominent in my life.
